When and if Hambly passed on her, is it possible she was awkward, skinny and/or a lot shorter?

Back to Fields in the transfer portal, i put this idea in the TP Thread but i’m doing my best to manifest her coming to illinois.
Is it possible that O’Brien’s time as a Longhorn helps push Illinois a little bit more than other B1G schools? I know someone already mentioned the success that this staff has had with turning pin hitters into 6 rotation players: Quade, Terry, Cooney and even taking it a step further, Kennedy’s digging/defense this past season was a huge improvement too.
There could be something there?

Good for her! This is a testament to how good she is. Does this leave Tamas time to recruit and do we even have a scholarship available for next year for someone like Fields?

Congratulations to Coach Reed! Contributed greatly to Illini team culture and successes these last 5 years. And has earned her shot at a significant D1 head coaching position.
As for her replacement, in my opinion they shouldn't be concerned with getting some big name assistant but should rather get someone with the connections, methods, energy level, and personality to be a super-recruiter. The current staff have already proven they are terrific at player development, game planning, and in game tactics/adjustments. What they need is someone who can focus and deliver on high quality recruits. That's what will get this already promising program to the next level.

Congratulations to the Illinois team, coaches, and fans for being the only previously unranked team to be ranked in the Top 16 in the final rankings of both the AVCA (#16) and VT (#15)! That's a heckuva accomplishment from where the season started (and even where the regular season ended). Peaked at the right time and gave a demo of where things might be next year.
