Kyla Swanson is in the portal as a Grad Transfer-- wishing her the best of luck. She had a great 2nd half of her junior season. Sad she got injured this year.

This off season is going to be make or break for the ILLINI. Let's see how goods Krista, Jen & Chris can recruit. Lots of big names going in the portal. Need a pin, DS & MB.

Collins and Hinton both expected to graduate and not be back next season? So Bingham and a transfer expected starters? Anna Dodson was followed by a couple Illini coaches. But lots of programs want her.

From what I heard on a recent radio broadcast, Brown is going to medical school, Hinton is going to law school and Nunge is headed to Africa before taking a gap year off. It appears Swanson has entered the transfer portal, but I haven't heard anything about Collins. It would be great if she could return and have a healthy final season. Otherwise, we will only have Bingham, Bohn and Dean as middle hitters. We would then need to pick up a middle and at least 1-2 outside hitters. I'm curious to see Bingham and Stephenson (and De Boer) play. I think they all have a high ceiling. |
