Harrison just went down with what appears to be an ankle injury oh no Doesn’t seem to have impacted them too much. Baylor wins set 2, 25-5.

Notable quote: “While there were a lot of changes coming into my senior season, this year has been the most special. This is the last year I will ever be able to play next to my younger sister, Elise. She is not only my sister but my best friend and roommate. We have done everything together since a young age, and these last few months that I get with her have been bittersweet. I thank God constantly for allowing me to play alongside Elise. Knowing it is the last season I will put on the Baylor jersey or practice in the Ferrell Center, I really came into it wanting to give everything I have to my teammates.” So slxpress, I guess she really isn’t coming back…

I wonder if she’s planning on spending her Covid year somewhere else? I guess we’ll see.

Baylor is gonna have quite the logjam at the outside spot next year.
Cassie Davis (Sr) Elise McGhee (Jr) Riley Simpson (R-So) Kyndal Stowers (Fr) Kendal Murphy (Fr) Joya Screen (Fr)
Then there’s also Keene and Dacosta.
And Harrison has a year of eligibility remaining…

The future is bright!!
I wonder what happens between Carlson and Kreck. They’re both sooo talented. Of course it’s easy to throw around the idea of a 6-2, but that hasn’t really been something McGuyre has used except for when Sedwick was dealing with injury.
Also excited to see the OH battle next year. Murphy and Stowers should come in and challenge for a spot right away.
Regardless, McGuyre has set BU up for continued success for many years to come. The turnaround of the Baylor program has been remarkable to watch.

19 players.
Texas having more on their roster than Baylor will definitely be short lived.
Also, McGhee, don’t feel like you have to hang it up just yet. There’s a great graduate program calling your name down the road in Austin. Join the dark side!
