LSU must have had no confidence in their team going in if they asking what happened to Hawaii. Common trash talk, low class, but who really is a fan of LSU volleyball anyway. Was there pre-game trash talk ?? seems odd that LSU would do that out of the blue. At least it doesn't seem what TJ stands for |

I know it’s easy to get pissed off about LSU’s social media antics but if you don’t want stuff like that to happen, don’t let it happen. The Bows played a bad match, it happens. Hold on to that sour feeling and let it motivate you for next season.

I think the rotation with Akana, Tiff, and Caylen was a tough rotation. Was it just me or I didn’t see any pipe attacks. Wish it was done more to let Wags hit. I felt we were close but when Amber was not on the front row and no longer on the floor Hawaii would lose a couple points in a row and just siding out became a struggle. Honestly would love for Onye to come to Hawaii even if just a year. Go bows! Next year! UH is going to need Caylen to work on backrow attack for next season. Whether the pipe or the D set would be beneficial. Right now, only Riley seems to be able to attack out of the backrow. If Caylen can add that to her repertoire, our offense will be even more diverse. And YES….an impactful middle blocker will be much needed. We do tend to get stuck when Amber is out. Having a second MB or even a bailout OH will help remedy that situation. Riley is really not your bailout type OH. I’m not sure yet if Hakas can be that bailout OH. She seems to be able to get points while playing for the Israeli national team but she is not their Go To hitter. Maybe if given a chance here, she might be that “guy”…..like Kanani Danielson. |

The GoTo pin hitter next season will be Caylen Alexander, at Opposite. At the Outside Hitter position, the Wahine will have Riley Wagoner, and Stella Adeyemi. Robyn is very high on Stella Adeyemi, she compares her to former Outstanding Outside Hitters Kanani Danielson and Kim Willoughby. If Stella comes anywhere near those 2, the Wahine have a gem, in my opinion. Only time will tell. As for another Middle, to complement Amber Igiede, remember, we have not seen a 100%, fully healthy Kennedi Evans play yet. Also, do we actually know how much Tiffany Westerberg will improve next season. The wild card could be Tali Hakas, do not really know what Robyn has planned for her. She could replace Kendra Ham in the back row, giving the Wahine another solid back row attacker, who knows. From what I understand, she is an excellent back row player. Thinking she will eventually replace Riley Wagoner when Riley uses up her eligibility. It will be the Setter's responsibility, whoever it is, next season to get the set to the hitter, the way the hitter likes it. The Wahine will have the firepower, and depth, to go deep into the NCAA Tournament next season. Something, Robyn did not really have this season, depth. |

One thing for sure, Robyn will not back down from playing the Best Teams. This past season, the Wahine played 2 out of the 4 Final Four teams.

That sucks! I have never watched cable tv since January (except for Hawaii mens volleyball) and it costs me $55/month! It’s hard to hold on to the service when I only use it for Hawaii volleyball lol. I’m trying to save whilst still watch the sport lol. You should get one of these. Definitely saves ALOT of money.
