How did Purdue play without their starting setter and sweep Minn? What an unbelievable performance. Can not believe Minn didn’t take advantage of the smaller setter. Shondell spinning plates and juggling a winner, I think people need to realize Grace Balensiefer was a standout setter for four years in her conference. She runs that floor with more confidence ans range than Renner currently does. Also, I was at the Tennessee game where she came in for Renner -- she gets up there to block. She's not as big of a liability as you'd assume because of her height. Grace looks like Annie Drews. Certain profile shots especially. Just me??

How did Purdue get Eva Hudson to attend and will other schools offer her big a big NIL to transfer?

How did Purdue get Eva Hudson to attend and will other schools offer her big a big NIL to transfer? I would be shocked by this. I don’t know her personally at all. It seemed that she just wanted to play near home….which is Fort Wayne, IN. I also read in the article that if she did go to Notre Dame, her grandparents didn’t live too far from there. She seems to be family oriented. But anything can happen in the portal lol.

She really wanted to play for HC Johnson at ND. Purdue was always her number 2 choice.

The price of Eva's NIL has soared and Purdue better pay up

Saw this on Twitter (and avid 2.0 shared it in the TV broadcasts thead) and thought it was a HUGE win for women's volleyball. So happy Boiler Nation could be a part of it!

Purdue survived Illinois by 2 points. It was interesting to hear the announcers say that this is the best start to the season since 2011.

They played beautifully in sets 1/2 but were really out of sync in sets 3/4 and half set 5. But they pulled it together and got it done in a hostile environment. Well done.

Maryland swept Purdue at Holloway today. It’s gut check time. Will Purdues season spiral and just go down from here…or will Purdue dig deep down inside and right their ship? Or is Purdue just not good and are playing to their potential? This season has been a surprise and Purdue wasn’t supposed to do this well in the beginning. If Purdue even makes it to the NCAA tournament this year, I will say that it was a successful season. Either way, I will continue to cheer for this team and will lose my voice on Wednesday night and every other home match for the rest of the season. Purdue is in good hands with Shondell and Co.

Friday night was stressful and yesterday was really hard but here's another great press conference with Coach Shondell where he is frank and honest about expectations.
Even after the Minnesota win, he didn't think Purdue should be #5. He thinks the team is anywhere from #12 to #25 and I agree. Despite having so many wins at the beginning of the season, it's a young team in terms of experienced players on the court at the same time. There are adjustments to be made, but they'll hopefully make the tournament and prove they're better than the predicted 8th place finish in the conference.

A nice video that I saw about Chloe on Twitter:
Chloe and Eva will be a great combination for Purdue to have next season.
