According to this: www.fivb.com/en/about/news/volleyball-world-opens-accelerated-bidding-process-for?id=96825 we are looking at 6 groups of 4 with no 2nd round groups but normal (like it always should have) soccer world cup style setup with round of 16, etc... What Serbian press are saying is that Serbia would get to host a couple of groups, Qatar, Poland and Turkey the rest. Would definitely consider flying out to Serbia to watch this depending on who is there. |

There was also reports that him and his partner experienced homophobic incidents that I'm sure contributed to the decision to leave. |
