Weird call...the ball landed out but the linesman from the other side of the court calls a touch on the passer even though I'm pretty sure the passer didn't touch it. WSU challenging now to get set point.

No Keefe for Duke, is she still injured?
Didn't have Devon Chang as the starting setter over Nazor. Chang looks good.

WSU doesn't look that crisp to me yet, but they have some good pieces. Lots of talk about how WSU would be with some transfer additions and mostly, without Pukis. Ung is holding her own, and WSU transfers filling in at least at the same, if not exceeding the previous options. Not crisp for sure - but it’s preseason. Ryan looks like she is more controlled, I hope she’s used heavily this season.

Washington State defeats Duke 3-1. WSU's attack way stronger than Duke's -- once they got rolling it was "turn out the lights".

I wish every school had a BYU tv. They are playing rider and the quality is still better than anything I’ll see the top conferences produce. I really appreciate what they do.

As predicted, Llarenas and Eden Bower are the other starters. The graphic before the game listed Dayton, but there was no way that was right.

I'll give Knudsen credit for that excellent overhead pass that led to a quick kill.
