What happened with Canann? served four aces in a row in the fifth set, including one out of a timeout… Florida still choked

FINAL THOUGHTS:- Stucky was outstanding this match - once she starts getting into the groove and rhythm with her teammates. It's lights out for the other teams... - The serve receive/defense was better than I expected - Victoria/ACF are completely ineffective and seem to not be able to put the ball down - Markova was quiet but I feel like Stucky set her crapshoots most of the time, most of the in system balls went to MB/OPP which is fine by me - Again, do not even put ACF/Victoria in matches... we were lacking an extra player Who does Florida have that could come in and be terminal? If passing is going to be suspect anyway, may as well see who can kill the ball.

Why it wasn't a Stanford blowout: Cookies would have been about as bad... but there's plenty of ground between serving too hard and serving cookies. Does anyone remember the Arizona State head coach that had his team serve insanely aggressively? In one match against the Cardinal, Arizona State out-hit, out-blocked and out-dug Stanford... and was swept. That scoresheet was even more ugly than tonight's... and I think that happened to ASU in at least one other conference match that season.

Wanna see a Florida lineup with Robinson/Markova/Beason with a DS for Robinson. Beason can pass. No reason not to utilize that.

I couldn't watch, but mostly kept up with the scoreline in the earlier sets. Seems to me that the biggest choke was the Stanford service game. -17 points at the service line, and they still come away with a win?

Such a fun match! Would have been a huuuuge tone-setter for Florida. Imo, Florida’s back court really needs McKissock to be clutch in those moments of the 5th set and so far she hasn’t really been. Hopefully with a bit more time. Too many off passes and missed digs. The future is bright though! Yes it stuck out - the Gator L play in the 5th didn't rise to the occasion.

Victoria is too inconsistent. Time to give Robinson a chance. I know it’s early, but if Mary puts them both in again Minnesota & they’re not doing anything. Robinson needs to be in
