Kentucky did last year with the Creighton/USC/UNI tournament, on ESPN+ I guess I mentally blocked out that epic Creighton comeback in the 5th against USC from my memory. Didn't happen!

Top 5 matchup is on page 3? Really?
The team that wins transition will win the game IMO. Very close matchup overall.

I think serve and pass will be a huge factor, more so important for Minnesota with less terminal attackers. Ohio state didn't pass great against Texas and missed a ton of serves. that was the biggest difference in that match to me. exciting for Texas to play a team that is strong in SR to really challenge their defense and put some pressure on the MBs blocking.

I agree I think Minnesota will pass better than Ohio St but I expect to see a lot of digs from both sides which is why I’m leaning torward a transition game battle.

Really hoping Gregory is in full force tomorrow night. Save for McGraw, this will be the Minnesota starters' first trip to Gregory so I'm hoping the crowd noise is stellar!

I was also realizing this morning that McGraw and Kilkelly are the only starters that have played in Gregory. Husemann was also there in 2019 but didn’t play. Team chemistry seems strong so hopefully they play loose and lean on each other through any nerves. Hoping for an exciting and aggressive match from the Gophers! Anything but a bunch of roll shots! I’m expecting good defense from both teams. Lots of monster Booth blocks please.

Question - would MN go home between Baylor/TCU and Texas? It's three whole days and the flight isn't THAT long (especially by New Big Ten standards, lol). Flip side, WACO and Austin are about two hours apart. Did school start yet?

They went straight to Austin from Waco. they were in Fort Worth My bad; I'm the one who said Waco and Austin are less than two hours. You're right, they were in Forth Worth A little further, but still close - about three hours.

I could see doing this either way, but staying makes it a nice trip for the team. You're about right on the travel time.

They would have left today anyways for Austin I’m guessing so that’s just one more day of classes (Mon) missed right?
