in the 4th set when Texas was up 14-13 shaffmaster set a ball so out of rhythm that 6'4 landfair couldn't even reach the ball. three points later when Texas is up 16-14 a great cover play is made high to the perfect spot by wenaas, shaffmster faces then face the wrong direction and does a short bump set backwards directly to mccgraw who has to send a free ball after what was a perfect pass from wenaas. look at the history of my posts, I don't just say things for fun because im bored and it sounds accurate. both of this plays mentioned above are plays that aren't happening with most top programs setters. I like Minnesota and I want them to do well. the fact that one off you actually went back and watched the set and then continued to say I was lying after seeing both of those plays is beyond me. both of those points are entirely on shaffmaster. completely missing those two sets off of good passes would be the equivalent of mccgraw overpassing two freeballs. im sorry you all think im hating on your favorite team and I wasn't going to post this but if you are going to say that I am lying to sound superior, I guess ill give you exact examples of extremely poor setting by shaffmaster I remember the bump set, yes it was not good. The other set off the net was played. Shaff had to put the out of system sets off the net to the pin because the Texas block was good and tight sets were getting blocked. That is two sets, btw, and not four and not "in a row". You overstate your case to get a rise out of people and to sound superior at the expense of a player. I didn't say in a row I said something like 4 out of 6, which ill admit I was wrong as when I rewatched it I realized some of the other poor sets were at other times in the set. nonetheless, still other poor sets made I just pointed out the worst examples. you are saying as though it is a fact that im saying these things to get a rise and to put down a player which makes me think you might just not know what youre talking about. as ive said, I like Minnesota and shaffmaster but that doesn't mean she can do no wrong. find me another match of a top 5 team that has a setter set two unahittable balls off of a perfect passes in the same set

No one said she could do no wrong; going overboard again there. My opinion of you is that you don't know much about what your talking about but you think you do.

Please continue dogging your setter, and I’m the troll for saying you can’t single her out. You people kill me. referring to stanford guy - he and bwf have been "dogging" the setter. They are not Minnesota fans. I don't quote trolls once I know. I have been defending if you read my posts. I posted about the serving strategy because fans thought McGraw was a serving target. I posted similar information after one of the losses to Wisconsin last year. Good teams serve A1 vs Minnesota because of Shaffmaster. You replied to my post that other setters also struggle setting passes from area 1 - I didn't respond because I never claimed the issue was unique to Shaffmaster. I was explaining the serving strategy. I like Shaffmaster. You're not defending her from me.

Love how this match was on Wednesday and the thread is still going 😂 I do appreciate the respect Texas and Minn fans have for each other though 🤝
