Vegas should open up a betting line:
Odds of the Wahine starting the season 0-4.
Odds of the Wahine going 0-6 in games in the next two matches.
Odds of the Wahine winning ONE game in the next two matches.
Odds of the Wahiine winning TWO games in the next two matches.
Odds of the Wahine winning THREE games in the next two matches.
Odds of the Wahine reaching at least 28 points in any game in their next two matches.
-----------
I would actually place bets if these were offered.

Even with Hittle playing only a defensive role, I don't see Hawai'i losing to USC. I also don't see them losing to Penn State, not at the SSC. The NACWAA match against the Nittany Lions was a very winable match for the Wahine.
The Wahine didn't play well at the NACWAA, and they are quite aware of what needed to be worked on. They have an opportunity to turn things around at home.... I think they'll make the most of that opportunity.
The odds of Hawai'i having a bad HAL Classicaren't very good so I suppose if odds were given, It wouldn't be good enough to put money on.

Someone on this forum mentioned something about a super secret weapon in the Wahine camp before NACWAA. So, what was it? Cuz, it didn't work.

Hawaii, doesn't beat Penn State, verdict out on USC. The SSC is a tough place to play, but Hawaii just doesn't have the horses. The SSC doesn't change the size and talent of Hawaii or their opponents.

I think if Hawaii can beat USC, then Hawaii will beat Penn State because they will get their confidence back.
Tara Hittle will be playing back row, so that will help their passing. Can't wait for tomorrow.

The SSC doesn't change the size and talent of Hawaii or their opponents. Hawai'i played poorly against Penn State at the NACWAA and yet still had the opportunity to win games one and two. This will be a different Hawai'i team that Penn State faces at the SSC, even Ruse Rose acknowledged that fact. I don't expect Penn State's freshman to have the kind of nights against Hawai'i that they had in the first meeting between the two. The SSC isn't a neutral court in Omaha, it's the Wahine homecourt, and playing in it won't be easy for them. Hittle will be back playing defense so that should definitely help shore up Hawaii's passing. I'm sure the pride of this Wahine team will surface.... Hawai'i DOES beat both USC and Penn State.

So, is SSC an advantage or not for UH VB team?
I'm so confused.
Or is it only during NCAA tourney that the pressure is so high that it becomes a disadvantage to play in front of home crowd?
Why would anyone think that playing at home vs a neutral site; even with Hittle available to play DS, would make such a big difference against PSU if home matches are actually tougher for bows?
Or is it only tougher to play at SSC AFTER the matches are over?
I'm just so confused.

Bowzo, that's some logic? That's my logic ;D. If they beat USC, I think they will gain the confidence they lost during the Nebraska game. In the Penn State and the Nebraska game it seemed that they were giving up in the 3rd game. I feel that if they can beat a top 10 team, when they find themselves behind in a game or match, they will have the confidence to say to themselves "we are good enough to beat you" instead of giving up. I think, if they had the confidence, they can beat Penn State because they were very competitive in the first 2 games. Can they beat Nebraska right now, probably not.
