The way unc really thought they could get Petrie 😭 I heard they went after Skinner  ?? What are they even doing I mean I get reaching out to the best I guess but come on they have to know this kind of job is like not at all attractive to already established coaches at good places lol |

I'd be questioning what the search firm was doing... or what parameters they were given to even recommend going after him. Unless that was a Joe suggestion.

I mean it is UNC. Don’t people just want to coach there because it is UNC? For volleyball, for the very best coaches - not necessarily. It's not basketball.
And generally, I guess there's the "thrill of the brand" but I'd imagine most people treat VB coaching like any other job - looking for best package that fits them. If it's not enough money, not a place they want to live, etc. - then they might not care that it's UNC.
