Virtue to Michigan. Now wondering if any of the applicants who didnt get the job at UM apply to UNC or have already. I still think we have our answer before the end of the month. If UNC is taking applications then UNC isnt serious about this job search: UNC MAKES A LIST AND CALLS : they do not go through applications !!! Some have to open the job in this way. It doesn’t mean they aren’t pro-active or not pursuing applicants. |

I would love to see Erin Lindsey return to UNC. She is amazing.I know her record at Santa Clara has been up and down, but that is a tough league to build in.

Search firm/consultant presented names… unless admin wants to add/subtract anyone… meetings/interviews will be happening this week/next. Should be done by end of next week, although not familiar with the UNC system in terms of when they can make a hire official.

Uhmm, definitely not the $$ Doesn't matter how much they have in the bank. What matters is how much they're willing to spend on volleyball. Yeah, but they definitely have it not sure why they wouldn’t use it. |

The other side of that story is his unwillingness initially to use their money to elevate program and struck out with every candidate. To his credit he recognized what needed to be done to get a top coach and ponied up. |

Erin Lindsey does bring a lot of experience, but I am not sure she fits the mold. Could be wrong. I havent heard her name.
I do think that we have a new HC by this time next week. Again, anyone that knows Bubba, he WILL spend the money if he gets what he wants, otherwise he will hoard it for something else and pay mediocre.

I don't know if this is the case in North Carolina, but many state schools have to follow state law on job openings and often that includes posting the job. I know Texas has that requirement. |

The UNC athletic director has not shown the knowledge to even know who a good target is for the coaching job. He has contacted some coaches for input about "possibilities" who would not be candidates for any other major jobs. The best hope for UNC is that he accidentally makes a good hire.
