Nebraska stinks and I would vote to never have it in that state ever again if it was up to me. <3 Nebraska stinks and I would vote to never have it in that state ever again if it was up to me, says the TEXAS Shill "eoTexas5". What a surprise comment. Good one.

The amount of immature parents compared the amount of teachers ready and willing to share their ideologies on young impressionable children do not pale in comparison. There are far more immature teachers that are very unwilling and/or unable to keep their opinion and ideologies out of the curriculum, hence a law needing to be put in place. I would much rather place my bets on the young educated teacher force being a more positive influence for children than parents in general. ... what. you think more often than not teachers are more positive influences on children than their own parents? I get that could certainly be the case SOMETIMES, but saying you would place your bets on the young teacher means you think majority of the time the teacher is going to be a better influence than the parents... do u have children lol? I can't imagine more than 5% of parents would agree with this take personally, I would place my bets on the parents who have raised and know everything abut the child, not the young teacher

You have 95+% of teachers who have college educations and probably the overwhelming majority do it because they love working with kids and want nothing more than to see kids succeed. Yes there are 10-20% who are not good at it and shouldn’t do it and just show up every day. Then you have parents. What’s the divorce rate? So that is probably not a great set up for the children. And poverty. And parents who just didn’t want to have the kids in the first place. Or live in a completely different state so they don’t really see the child. Or those in jail. Or those who do drugs. And the rest are really outstanding parents. My wife is a teacher and I’ve worked in schools for many years in different roles-coach, paraprofessional, etc and I have a teaching degree. She has a number of students with divorced parents, kids who are homeless, kids with parents who physically abuse them, sexually abuse them, kids living in poverty, kids who don’t know who their second parent is. She works with a couple of teachers who are awful at their job and the students hate. It would be an interesting study to see who has the best interest of students…parents or teachers?

For any reasonable parent (who out here is claiming they are bad parent) - 100% of them care more about their children than anyone else - no matter how caring and loving a teacher may be. I would like to see a poll of those parents who do believe that their child's teacher cares more about their child then themselves.

Proof? Source of these thousands of teachers doing this? Proof of first grade teachers doing this? Just take a scroll through twitter or on LibsOfTikTok account and you can see the videos' of teachers bragging about what they are teaching and the books they are putting out in plain site in their classrooms. LibsOfTikTok? Now there is a trustworthy and reliable and unbiased source for sure....

Why would any parents agree that they are bad parents?

Other than the possibility that it is people faking to make it sound so horrible - this looks rather real to me.

I think you are likely not a bad person at all but the implications of this line of thinking are horrifying and you would probably be disturbed to see historical applications of those sentiments. Also, this thread should probably be Off The Net at this point.

LibsOfTikTok? Now there is a trustworthy and reliable and unbiased source for sure.... Nobody said they were making claims or creating it as their own content. Proof was asked for, and almost the entire basis of that account is to share the things that other people proudly post publicly that are completely open to being shared because they put it on social media. People asked for examples of the behavior that Florida is trying to stop, I directed you right to a source of plenty of examples.

This thread is no longer anywhere NEAR what the title suggests. Considering it started with literal falsities and exaggerations as the entire basis to move the final four, we are not far off. Misinformed activism is irresponsible and this thread is a perfect example for those that choose to engage in it hoping to incite division and anger.
