LibsOfTikTok? Now there is a trustworthy and reliable and unbiased source for sure.... I have seen some tweets from them - it is direct videos of teachers with their exact words. Other than the possibility that it is people faking to make it sound so horrible - this looks rather real to me. Libs of TikTok is simply not a trustworthy source of information. Whatever you think you have seen on it. But if you want to go down that rabbit hole, I can't stop you. Anyway, the original request was a valid topic for this forum, but this whole digression about teachers and parents is not.

How is it not a trustworthy source of information, they literally repost what other people publicly put up for the internet to see? Barley any of the content is their own other than some added commentary, the videos and posts shared are from those who already choose to have it on the internet with their name attached. Again, more misinformation. The original request was based of false claims and exaggerations, it deserved to be corrected.

Proof? Source of these thousands of teachers doing this? Proof of first grade teachers doing this? Just take a scroll through twitter or on LibsOfTikTok account and you can see the videos' of teachers bragging about what they are teaching and the books they are putting out in plain site in their classrooms.
Sorry I don’t have time to find thousands of teachers videos. Please direct me to the links to the thousands of them. And the first grade teachers too. I know you don’t like exaggeration and hyperbole when trying to make a point so I’m sure you’ll have no problem with this task. So that no one thinks you’re exaggerating.

I never understand tagging a mod in a conversation that is not malicious just because someone doesn't enjoy it. You have people who have admitted to having multiple accounts and use them solely to belittle, shame, and harass victims of sexual assault that come to share their story and they are not suspended nor permanently banned. This thread was going to become breeding ground for misinformed activism and it needed to be corrected even though it still happened. If anyone is bothered by the fact that there are laws being put in place to prevent children under 10 being exposed to sexually explicit conversations that are not moderated or conducted by their parents, I think the problem lies with them.

I never understand tagging a mod in a conversation that is not malicious just because someone doesn't enjoy it. Because at this point it has had nothing to do with volleyball in any way for pages. The conversion should continue off the net.

So you are saying every time they repost teachers bragging about enjoying causing confusion by gender identity conversations, or pictures/videos that users themselves literally posted of themselves having extremely inappropriate conversations in classroom with kids around is misinformation then you are a lost cause. If you are saying that sharing how grade schools post on their Facebook accounts about drag shows coming to their gyms without adults present, or how a teachers took a group of kids to a strip club without parents permission then filmed them dancing on the poles and shared it to their own private accounts that LibsOfTikTok reposted is misinformation I am not sure how to help you.

Yea, ok buddy.

The conversion should continue off the net. It never did, it started with someone who was greatly uninformed looking to incite chaos based off their own political bias by attempting to use misinformed activism. It 100% deserved to be called out and corrected for the rest of the board to see. I will never understand how it is so hard for someone to just ignore a post they are no longer interested in.

It would be like saying a video replay of a game was not trustworthy information. Or a video of a speech from anyone is not trustworthy.
I wonder how many (%) of teachers really do that? a) I just can't imagine that more than 0.01% of teachers want to engage & broach gender identity subjects. Especially lower grades because students wouldn't be able to fathom teh information anyway. b) the existence of videos on tik-tok isn't some indication of a profound pervasive activity. It's antecdotal data at best. Is there really any properly conducted study to support the statements or not. Otherwise it's speculation, and social media simply encourages people to over-react to many anecdotal events. Not saying it makes any of those 'right', just that basing an argument on that I would think would be circumspect.

the core of this 'issue' people keep forgetting about is how young the kids are... I want some of y'all to say out-loud to a room full of people "I think k-3 teachers should be integrating lesson plans about sexuality and sexual orientation into their curriculum because I believe it is necessary for kids below the age of 10 to be learning about that"
really let that sink in for a sec. no one is arguing about discussing these things to kids aged 12 and up. I usually am pretty fair and can understand the other side of arguments, but this one really stumps me for the people in support of it lol, im not gonna post anything else in here because ill never comprehend the other side of this one. peace n luv

Again, I can't imagine the average K-3 teacher wanting to go anyhere near the subject matter. Maybe they might on occasion have one graphic that shows there are all sorts of identities out there, but after that, like they are gonna really create content....and have a test on the knowledge? 0.01% is my guess, and I'd imagine it's lower than that, but maybe I"m wrong
