Does Sheffield say uncle and give it a rest, or does he and Marquette do an American Family Field event (which the Badger basketball teams just did and which has no rain risk). Or does he say that the record isn't important when the viewing experience is ... really bad for most ? And of course UW Marquette, especially in Milwaukee instead of Madison, may not draw nearly as well as Memorial, but it'd be interesting to see how well it would. I really doubt he'd consider Camp Randall. Let's hope for uncle. It didn't exactly turn out a W the last time. |

Next year, Michigan plays a single set of volleyball in Michigan Stadium during half time of the UM-OSU game and sets a record that literally can’t be broken. Bc that’s where things are now I guess. 😭 ? |

I am skeptical of this but I hope it’s a resounding success. I just have a hard time believing we can pack that many people into a stadium to watch volleyball. I’m hoping I’m wrong.

According to a snippet from BadgerExtra, apparently Sheffield likes the idea. I think it's stupid. Attending a match and watching one are two different things. It's bad enough now when people go by me in a middle of a rally.

I think it's a very cool idea and something that will probably happen one time, or maybe once every four or five years. The viewing experience is going to be "meh" and the chances a top team will come play in that environment are pretty slim so the volleyball probably won't be super compelling, either. The spectacle should be awesome, though.
