According to a snippet from BadgerExtra, apparently Sheffield likes the idea. I think it's stupid. Attending a match and watching one are two different things. It's bad enough now when people go by me in a middle of a rally. What do you find stupid, the celebration of the sport, or the attention and interest it creates?

Still wondering how this can be considered anything but an exhibition match, since it will be outdoors. there's nothing in the rulebook stating a match has to be indoors. as long as they follow all of the rules re: equipment, layouts, courts, and such One of the rules say that the maximum temp can be no more than 25 degrees Celsius? (77F)

(77F) If that is actually a rule, I suspect Kansas State has broken it a number of times.

(77F) Obviously this is a rule that's never been enforced. The Pav used to get into the 80s regularly, and I believe they had to cancel a match a few years back because it was in the 90s inside. Thank god for air conditioning that's been installed since.

Do they allow alcohol sales at Memorial? ‘Cause this thing has the makings to be a great party.

That’s borderline inhumane!

These days only Pepperidge Farms remembers that. That said, I've done more shots in Memorial Stadium than everywhere else in the world combined.
