Iowa wrestling met Ok State at Kinnick in the grapple on the gridiron
In a top 5 match in the world of NCAA wrestling. I was excited for the possibility of what team Neb would be playing - Texas, Oregon, Pitt, Florida, Louisville etc - very underwhelming to have Omaha. At least have guts and go against Creighton - just my two cents

Iowa wrestling met Ok State at Kinnick in the grapple on the gridiron In a top 5 match in the world of NCAA wrestling. I was excited for the possibility of what team Neb would be playing - Texas, Oregon, Pitt, Florida, Louisville etc - very underwhelming to have Omaha. At least have guts and go against Creighton - just my two cents I read that schedules could not be changed for both teams, as they were already scheduled to play each other (Creighton/Nebraska) in September. I believe Nebraska was already scheduled to play Omaha the same week as the scheduled game at Memorial Stadium. Also, contrary to popular belief, UNO (Omaha) are no slouches when it comes to volleyball. Are they top 25 material? No. However, they are a good team. They took Nebraska to five sets a few years back at the Devaney, and took Creighton to five sets last year as well. |

is there any way weather is going to effect this... like what if its pouring that day... are they just gonna cancel it? also idk how stadiums work fr but could wind not be a possibility? volleyballs move differently outside than they do inside in my experience. it's very cool but im not sure I like the outdoor aspect of it'

A top team (Texas for example) is not going to agree to play Nebraska in a place where there are weather factors out of their control… given a win against Nebraska can be an important resume builder… a top team wouldn’t jeopardize that because of an outdoor game… they’ll go play someone else indoors. |
