This was my assumption (and makes sense) yea. Thereās a lot of gray area especially because just 3 years before Dajana was born it was obviously all one country. So thereās a lot of ethnic Serbians living all through the former Yugoslavia and same with other closely related ethnic groups like Croats and stuff. No matter the case itās completely different than what turkey and Vargas are lmfao. Last time I checked Cuba has never been part of Turkey but we havenāt quite gotten there in my survey of European history class so maybe I just havenāt learned about it yet ! Your arguments would be valid if Serbia didnāt try to buy Vargas and if they managed you wouldnāt be speaking like this so i find your fanatic stance really funny. And a little jelly  |

The last time Serbs tried to make ethnic Serbians of B&H a part of Serbia, we all remember what happened in 1990's.
Saying Boskovic's case is different just pathetic. Only different thing is that she never played for B&H.

Also uzelac didnāt play today because sheās also sick. Gio confirmed maja and uzelac came to training today feeling sick and wasnāt sure if they would play. Maja came in and saved the day but Uzelac must have been feeling pretty bad bc lozo was awful

For me, a person should be able to decide which country to play for, of course if that country agrees.
Antropova started playing volleyball in Italy and probably chose Italy for economic reasons (not because they bought her but because of contracts).
Vargas is a victim of the stupidity of some Cuban Federation executives. Had they not stopped her for 4 years maybe the story would have been different. She only did well to look for better and if she chose Turkey and Turkey chose her, they both did well.
Boskovic comes from a history with many ifs. If Tito had not done what he did, if Milosevic had not been the criminal he was, if...if...maybe Serbia would now be playing under the name Yugoslavia and the problem would not have arisen.
Most importantly: why do these "quarrels" pop up at every international tournament?
