I think this will be closer than folks think, as in Texas will get to 20 once or twice. well I mean I don’t think Minnesota is going to just beat Texas 25-12 25-15 25-17 lol. I do think it’ll be a sweep tho |

All the bashing but this better be good tf, I just want high level volleyball from both sides. The closer the match the more entertaining for me. #teamminny ofc tho.

Literally people act like there were no good passes. Overall, much to be desired, but it wasn’t the world’s worst passing. On good stretches, O’Neal there would have made the block honest, opened things up for Madi and Jenna and maybe had them less pressed. Shoulda, coulda, woulda, and maybe not a different outcome, but certainly a different game. Literally that's not what anyone is saying. And I mean this using the actually definition of literally. My bad. That was my interpretation, but I guess you’re right. |

So what's the narrative we are going for the Texas vs LBSU match, was it the passing, the setting, or the attackers flopping? Cuz for Nebraska we are blaming the attackers. What's the narrative for Texas? Just blaming serving?

How will Minnesota’s fans react to Wenaas returning? Genuine question. Didn’t keep up during the off-season. A grudging two claps, like most other visiting players get. No chance. The student section will be rowdy but I expect the rest of the Pav will give her a very warm welcome. |

If Texas figures out it’s serving, we’ll be able to hang. Of course passing and setting looked sketchy at times, but our blocking looks much improved from the start of last year if we can get our servers. There were stretches when we looked scary. I’m not ready to conclude that we’re as far behind as some of you others are. Personally. Dropping down to 7 was absolute ludicrous. We'll see what happens until Asjia's back, but even a Eggleston/Fleck/Parra-less (I know I'm forgetting some) Texas is a top-5 team. Especially when Wenaas explodes. |

As a volleyball fan, I would much rather play Texas with a healthy O’Neil… but as a Gopher fan, I’m fine if she needs some more time to heal up 😊 I always look forward to playing Texas and this should be another fun one! I was expecting this one would be another Texas W but getting out blocked by LMU and now facing the brick wall that is Awoleye doesn’t look very promising for the longhorns. Wenaas could also go off on MN because of her familiarity with the team or it could be the exact opposite. Gonna be an interesting match! I totally get this but I'm not sure I agree- there's a reason we've consistently had one of the most difficult nonconference schedules in the nation! The injury just makes it mean less if we win and more if we lose (and makes it not quite as good preparation). Not to sound totally negative, I'm still super excited for the matchup- but I'd much rather go up against a fully healthy Texas |

I feel like if you look at the 6 teams ranked ahead of them it’s very understandable and far from crazy. Do I think Texas could earn a top 3 spot back? Yes. Do I think 7 is acceptable and fair based off what we’ve seen up to this current moment? Yes |

After the 1st weekend Minny appeared to be well ahead of Texas in passing, back-row D, and setting. Minny at home isn't going to help Texas either. |

everyone calm down dear god. Oneal is definitely a big loss for texas, would having her for 3 rotations last weekend have not made them look like a dumpster fire? I dont think so, but id probably hold onto that hope too if it was my favorite team. my point is basically everyone here is wrong and im right  , non texas fans are downplaying oneal's effect on the game, and texas fans are over estimating her effect. would she make them better? of course. would she have fixed the number of issues they had at lbsu? no, unless she's a wizard. they didn't look one good middle away from being a top 5 team, but definitely looked like they could use one I would personally argue that they were one good middle away from being good enough to beat LBSU, especially considering LBSU later loss on the weekend. |
