If I recall right, AZ pushed the Ducks in a tight first set and then faded in their last match up. I can see the same occurring again.

9-8 Oregon. 4 Duck service errors and an Arizona ace, so our typical slow start at this point.
On the bright side, I think Gabby has 4 or 5 kills hitting 1.000, I suspected she would have success against this block.

I hope Hannah is ok!
Also, let’s see Kate! Unless she’s hurt. But give her some time passing again before we go against USC and in the post season, or teams are going to pick Daley and our SR apart.

But give her some time passing again before we go against USC and in the post season, or teams are going to pick Daley and our SR apart. For me, it's just that the passing difference is not substantial enough to make up for the big difference in defense, and the "good" passes are still coming in too low. We're also just not scoring off of the balls that come up. Ducks fortunate so far that Arizona's hitters can't keep the ball in the court cuz it's not an inspiring start. Gabby 8-0-11, Rest of Team: 3-2-15 (and 2 of those 3 kills from others are off overpasses) |

Just in case it wasn't clear, I am agreeing with you that Thibault should be playing. I just think it's really hard for a coach to get over the mental hump of playing a little whose passing grade is technically lower. |
