Let’s all please give thanks this Thanksgiving to Julia Hanson. A local talent who stayed in state and waited for 2 years for her shot. She’s now keeping up our tradition of great Gopher pin hitters. Watch out next year. B1G POY caliber.

It's a Wowza Wednesday so far as every contest so far has been to Minnesota's benefit So. Carolina defeated Florida. I think that eliminates FLA from hosting Stanford came back to reverse sweep Ga Tech 15' before the Illinois match and Iowa State is up 2sets to 1 against Utah. I see no way that Utah can be a top 16 seed if they lose to RPI 158 today Utah pulled it out in the 5th 15-12? Dang We need to see real fire from the Gophers. A sweep would certainly help. As well as a Washington at home beating USC I would like to believe the NCAA would like an excuse to have a venue with over 5,000 in attendance the first weekend. All that and the win over Illinois and we moved up to .0048 RPI points to 27th at the moment. |

I don’t know how they do it these days with all these teams lol but she will be the highest team. And next year POY potential. |

Question! I will be at the Minnesota vs Illinois match tomorrow, as I am an Illinois student (but will be wearing my Minnesota shirt lol). I am really hoping to get a picture with a couple of the players, but understand if its not logistically feasible. Do any of you have any tips/experience getting pictures with players at away matches? Is it good to do before the start of the match? Do they even come back out to the court afterwards? Please help! Update in case anyone cared lol, I was able to get a pic with Mel which was my literal dream and Elise took the pics and even snuck in a selfie of herself so I got lucky! |

If Wookie could ever get her act together the two of them would be perhaps one of the best pair of pin hitters in the league. McKenna just seems to go from one injury to another and has sadly become more of a liability than an asset. |

It would be lunacy if she were left off that list. Has to be AA of some level. Third team at absolute lowest, IMO. |
