At this point in the 24 season she is showing significant floor leadership for the team. Sickos need to give her a break, but they won't because sickos can't help themselves. At this point your unhealthy aversion to 'sickos' for actually having an opinion is more of an issue in extending the shelf life of the thread then anything Murray is doing currently. GOD FORBID putting forth an opinion on a message board where that is the EXACT purpose it exists. TRIGGERED much? Did you actually post this after your rants on Off The Net?

Nobody holds a candle to you when it comes to rants on this entire VolleyTalk community of forums. Your excessive usage of ALL CAPS is second to none as well.

My favorite part is the people who post in the thread, calling for the thread to be left alone to die.
Like, do you not understand what that means and how you’re the antithesis of what you want??
If you keep commenting the thread keeps going to the top eliciting more responses. You should know that by now. That’s how the message board works.
If you want the thread to die, *you also* need to refrain from commenting.

While I first wanted to see this thread get shut down, I now see incredible value in keeping it alive. As a Harper Murray stan, I am delighted by everything that’s come from this: forgiveness by compassionate people, mental health awareness for student athletes, and a much needed spotlight on the trolls, muppets, casuals, and posers, who sent Harper so many hateful and sociopathic comments after the national championship match and the events that unfolded over the winter/spring. It’s touching to see so many of you, including some that I would never expect, to forgive Harper and wish her well as she moves forward and becomes the best possible person and player she can be. While the usual suspects on Volleytalk would still love to see Harper behind bars, harassed for life, and banned from this sport as a successful athlete at Nebraska, I’ve been so impressed by those of you, who believe in and support rehabilitation over incarceration and harsh penalties, especially for non-violent crimes. In the ESPN documentary, we learned how Harper, like most people in her age group, had a strong (but unrealistic) desire to be liked by everyone. As a successful athlete, whose career is competitive by nature, she will always (and unfortunately) attract haters, especially from opposing fanbases. Most of the social media accounts that had sent Harper dirty comments, like the ones wishing for her to die, were coming from other fanbases, including people posing as Husker fans. This thread is active proof of how Husker posers like Kearney Kingston, huskerfrosh, and lilredstan (to name a few) exist online, and it’s important for players to be made aware of this tactic that’s happening on social media and Volleytalk. This awareness will only help players filter out the hateful comments by better spotting vitriol and recognizing it for what it is, as well as prepare her for a successful pro career. I am so glad Harper is surrounded by a supportive team and staff, loving fanbase, and a society that is becoming better at valuing the mental health of student athletes. So you deleted your word salad from earlier only to repost it once again? lol. We get it you are a Murray fanatic, then y'all don't need to be on here whining about this thread still being up when stans keep posting missives of their undying love.

I miss Knuckles. She's pretty much the only Nebraska player I've ever liked.

I miss Knuckles. She's pretty much the only Nebraska player I've ever liked. What about Justine? How can anyone not like Justine? She used her prize money from an international tournament to buy her mom a new van. I don’t remember Knuckles gifting anyone a new car! 🙃 Jk jk we all love our back-row players at Nebraska 🥰
