Overall lots of close games, a couple of upsets, lots of good play and also lots of rust/new players still adjusting. A lot of the top 10-12 could have flipped places. I didn't see all of the teams play, but everyone I watched had some holes or weaknesses in their lineups. Should be interesting to see how teams rebound or adjust to being front-runners heading into the next few weeks.

How does Germantown draw Madison Memorial and Tosa West - teams that tied for dead last at KM last weekend. Yes Germantown should have an easier draw, but when you see Nicolet and New Berlin United in the same pool as well as CMH and Appleton North that's four teams who finished in Gold in two pools. I don't envy those that seed tournaments, but struggling to see the logic this weekend. |
