Caroline Bien - I’d put her in any position on the court, including setter and middle, and she’d probably figure out. Slightly edges out Turner because I wouldn’t think Turner’s serve receive would be that good (if it was passable, I’d probably go with her).

Haven't watched much but international level 6ro who lead the team in kills (hit .260 with most attempts) and aces, 96% in serve receive (most attempts too) fourth in digs seems pretty good |

all around player versus best player is so, so different
Camryn Turner is the best player on Kansas and I don’t even think it’s particularly close. same with Olivia Babcock for Pitt.

I guess we should define “best”, as I think it’s somewhat subjective. I like Bien because her ceiling at OH/DS/Libero when she is at her best is next-level stuff, and I think it’s quite impressive. To dvd’s point - if we’re going by the top player right now at a certain position, then yes Turner is among the very best setters in the country. I do also love her versatility and if god forbid Davis got injured, I’d fully be onboard to have Kansas go 6-2 with Dalton and Turner as opposites lol. |
