Betgren’s the best player on Nebraska? I don’t think you could pick one but I think this past season compared to the season before shows she’s a heck of a difference-maker. This is an interesting question. My initial thought was to list Merritt Beason as Nebraska's best player. However, even if Beason were to go down with an injury, Nebraska would still be very good. If Bergen Reilly were to be injured, Nebraska would be a different team with their backup setter. Kennedi Orr seems like a great kid, but she is not the setter that Reilly is, and it would have a big impact on Nebraska's offense. It is not unlike what happened to Florida last year. Florida looked like the best team in the country for the first three weeks of the season, then Stucky was injured and Florida looked like a completely different team. That is what Nebraska would look like if Reilly went down with an injury. I don't know if Reilly is Nebraska's best player, but she may be their most important player, if that makes any sense.

Chloe Hudson or Eva Chicoine. Flip a coin. Eva Hudson has emerged so much the first two nights that this is no longer a coin flip.
