Women's sand Vball is the fastest growing sport in the history of the NCAA. Fastest to emerge and a very bright future ahead. Hawaii, FSU and Pepp will be the top teams. The National Championships will expand to an 8 team championships up from 6 last year. The NCAA is extremely excited about sand volleyball as it is a completely new sport.

I sure hope that the NCAA changes the scheduling (dates) for the tournament in 2016 -> on; so that it isn't held so close to some schools 'finals' week - so all schools can participate! * The NCAA "Beach Championship" dates could be later 'out of season'.

And just in time to bring the championship tournament to the West Coast, where it belongs. They won't. 3 for west 3 for east and 2 at large....fair and balanced the way it should be as a number of N Cal programs have shadow sand programs...not willing to invest and travel.

I think USC will be very very good too. My prediction, USC vs either Pepp or Hawaii for all the marbles.

Yeah USC picked up a nice transfer from LB....With that addition, they raised their stock tremendously. With it moving to 8 teams for the national championship it will be a dog fight. A better format than last year. SC, H, PEP N FSU final 4....from there depends on health and who matches up better.

Left LBSU to go sand-only at USC.

I guess they are getting Bukevic's partner now, Miric?? I feel for the Beach I thought Bukevic/Jackson or Brinke would have been a solid pairing. Maybe Brinke leaves and goes sand only too?

Croson is not playing for them, and the real darkhorse IMO will be LMU. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!, all. The Dark Horse in 2015: 1. Taylor Jackson 5.8 SR Long Beach, CA 2. Joy Miley 6.2 SO Downey, CA 3. There has been a rumor floating around that Croson will be at LBSU, but I've never heard anything definite.

I've heard rumours that having Bukovec at USC would really increase the chance of Miric coming, but Tia is still shopping around for schools last I heard.

Don't know how she can keep all these players happy with only 6 scholarships. Recruiting during matches is just not right.

Recruiting during matches is just not right. USC doesn't need to poach or "recruit during matches." Neither does Pepperdine, for that matter. They don't need to, since so many players contact them first. Like Bukevic.
