This may have been discussed earlier in this sand thread, but without having to read it all, I'm wondering if there are other B1G schools looking at adding sand volleyball. If so, which ones? Currently, only Nebraska fields a team using its indoor players. It seems like adding sand may help get some of the top recruits to consider these B1G schools. Kathryn Plummer, class of 2016 top recruit, made a visit to Michigan, but rumor has it she will only choose a school where she can play both. Prep Volleyball Freshman of the Year, Hames, is also a sand player. She has made visits to many schools including Nebraska and sand is a major determining point on where she will end up committing. From the PV article, her mom played professional beach volleyball for years.

Looking at some of the preseason competition I see Jace Pardon partnering up with Sara Wikstrom again out of Florida State. I believe they were All-Americans the last time they were together??? Could be a sleeper that has gone unnoticed by many on this board.

The AVCA preseason poll is pretty similar to the Dig Magazine poll. (Is St. Mary's a contender? I don't see Mike Dodd listed as the sand coach this year, and they don't appear to have the same depth as the other top 10 teams....?? Edit: Pacific might be the best NorCal team.)
