German federation won’t have the problem of deciding who to send. Spain won 2 sets to 1.

Good for Graudina! She's repping Pac Beach volleyball. We shall now see if her USC alums April Ross (Indoor at USC), Hughes or Claes can do the same.

Latvia was down 11-13 in the third set. Went up 15-14. Ended up winning 17-15. Successful event for Latvia to qualify a men’s and women’s team to Tokyo! Two aces by Tina Graudina to end the match. The last one was pure lack of nerves for the Czechs - after being up 12-7! Kravcenoka had 3 aces to get them back in the game.

Just watched the airing on the Olympic Channel (no real heads up on this one either I just happened to see it in the channel guide). Those aces were crucial for the come back. And that challenge during the play for the net touch? Not sure how Graudina saw it during play, but that was clutch as hell.
