Love the Stanford announcer. She does a great job on play by play and providing stats and occasional comment but never gets in the way of the action. Her quality work is a good ambassador for the Stanford program. Hopefully when she finally leaves KZSU they will find someone equally good to replace her.

game 1 14-14
klineman hitting into the block .... it makes me so mad when tall people hit at a low contact point.

too many errors.... bryn forcing the middle way too much this year. The block is camped on the middle.

Not necessarily a knock on Stanford. Watching BYU this year, their blocking is very disciplined. They time things well and get lots of touches that allow them to run their transition offense.

Stanford's right side not doing well -- they don't have enough diverse offense in this game to confuse the BYU block. I see teams are still serving Klineman. She seems slightly better than she was that first weekend, but it's still a good strategy for now.

Another thing about BYU is their backline defense is very good at reading the attack. Their short defense is more vulnerable, which is why Akinradewo is doing so well on the quicks.

And Foluke is hitting at a much higher contact point the everyone.
The block is not a threat on the back 1 slide. I wish they would run a quicker outside to Barboza.
