Looks like a pretty full field on both sides.
Last time for points, I believe the Major has the same points as a Grand Slam.
Couple teams could still move a place or 2.

Are Summer/Lane done with FIVB for the year? They aren't on any Entry Lists (per BVB Info) for the remaining events.

Glad to see Brunner and Allen make it in.
Thought Theo was moving a bit better this last weekend (AVP) They may sneak out a "W" in pool play.

Excited for this event. Hope Guto/Saymon can clear the qualifier this time. BVBinfo had them listed as the #2 seed, but then in the qualifier bracket there was different Brazilians listed.

Ricardo reminding the youngsters that they still have a long way to go. He is really the last link to the glory days.
In his first win, some of the teams finishing lower than him were Steffes/Bouilliane, Loiola/Rego and Sinjin/Luyties. Is there anyone else on tour that even goes back to the 90s?

Brazil's number 8 women, or whatever they are, are out for blood. Walsh/Jennings and Menegatti/Toth, thats two impressive scalps right there. Too bad pool play is largely irrelevant

I can't seem to get the streams working on the Swatch website. Is anyone else having problems? I don't remember if these were available in the US last year or they block them like FIVB does...maybe that's my issue.

Looking at the entry lists, looks like Kerri and April are skipping all but 1 of the FIVB events between now and the Olympics. They are opting to play the AVP instead. I mean I get playing Manhattan Beach, but why not build the confidence by taking down top teams? They will get nothing out of the AVP. On the flip side, they loaded up on FIVB events that they certainly would have skipped if they weren't trying to qualify.
