Larissa seemed resigned. Where's the white hot rage?

Just a dismantling of the Brazilians by the Germans. Germans played lights out. I hope Kerri/April take care of business tonight because that would be a fun match to watch.
Brazil men's and women's teams really didn't play great all tournament (of course Alison/Bruno probably played their best match yesterday against Phil/Nick).

Lots of big oafs out there now. Have you seen Varenhorst? Did this tournament just get very boring for anyone else? With the Cubans out and Nick/Phil, I guess I am still interested to see if Allison can get a win, but ill probably watch the semi the day after (it comes on late here) and if they advance I doubt I will watch the final at all.
I never get sick of watching Bruno. That boy is the truth.
+1. My favorite non-us player. Someone needs to get him to defect

Larissa seemed resigned. Where's the white hot rage? Well, there comes a point where you're getting your ass kicked so thoroughly that you can't even get mad about it. Come to think of it, though, Larissa's temperament seems to have mellowed (by her standards, that is) some since she took a year off and got married.

Unbelievable come back for NED in that 2nd set. Huge blocks by Meeuwesen at the end of tha tset. See if they can carry that momentum into the 3rd set.

Ludwig's playing lights out, Brazil's gonna lose. Not just her, although thats about as good a match as I have seen a defender play. Kira was also great. I thought Brazil played well in game 1, but Germany was just too good and they broke Brazil a little mentally. That team is going to be very hard to beat playing that way. Shame for Larissa, would have liked to see her in the final, but even Larissa/Juliana at their best would have struggled with that Germany team. They were absolutely fearless and unaffected hitting.
