I'm looking forward to Saturdays match. I hope we continue to include a few sets to the middle each set - just enough to keep the opposition on their toes. I really like the composure the Gophers have. They just don't quit. Go Gophers.

The rat comment came from the live they did on instagram the other night. I didn’t catch the beginning, but CC was off camera and kept commenting. What was said in the segments you saw? I tuned in literally as they were signing off :/ |

I agree with all of this. Go GOPHERS GO! I loved hearing the female announcer say that with endearment at the end Me too! I quite enjoy her when she changes up with volume to really make a statement. |

Watching the replay. Good lawd if I were on the receiving end of Pressley I'm pretty sure my life would flash before my eyes. Same goes for the likes of Samedy and LMM. They get on the ball FAST. I can't pin what looked off about Samedy but I'm only on set 3 now. The swings are weird given that she had good looks. Shaff had an overpass kill that I don't think I've seen her rip before. I like it Husemann going what, 5-1-8 or something felt like she had more kills. She looked great offensively! |

She’s human, had a string of bad timing, got in her head, started going for contact rather than “heat” as Karch put it. She’s fine, and will be ready for Wisc. |

I’m not sure how tomorrow will go, but I’ve been feeling very nostalgic.
First off, this team has been so fun to watch because I feel like it has the most genuine cohesiveness I have seen in a while. Next year with shifting pieces and fighting for spots that could change. However right now I enjoy watching them have friendly banter and just simple fun with each other on social media. I honestly think this group just likes each other.
Then there is Samedy. I’ve never just stopped to think about how much she has done for the program. She was the ONLY one in her class of 6 to not transfer. Being from Florida it couldn’t have always been easy to be here in the Minnesota winters. She has stayed steady through multiple setters, and even played less one year because of a setter situation. Every year I worried about her leaving. Not because she seemed unhappy, but worried there could be something “better” out there for her. Then she came back and gave all the fans another spectacular year.
I just hope tomorrow Minnesota brings their A game. I think this team can do great things.

She really got on top of the ball at least three times. It’s nice to see the connection improving not only for this year but almost more important for next. |

It was honestly a bit of a mess. 25% of the people asking if they would follow their instagram pages 35% asking rando vb questions (where is your favorite place to play, what do you think of hughs accent etc etc etc). 40% asking about CC and why she was out, which led them to make jokes that she had rabies and was bit by a rat, which was funny imo. People really think they are just going to go into the health issues of a player on there? Lol. Samedy appeared and then CC did too and people went wild but answered very few questions of substance. |
