As per usual you have to take some of Karch's comments with whatever
but he said that Samedy came to MN because she wanted to become an OPP capable of competing on the Olympic team and thought Hugh could help her be all she wanted to be.
Hugh has said as much that this 5th year has helped Samedy hone her already well developed skills.
Now if she could just race across the floor on the serve in ro1 1 like Van derMark !!
Fervently hoping that her 'heat loss' was only timing & Shaff-connection related

I loved hearing the female announcer say that with endearment at the end  I LOVE Salima. Other people like to hate on her a bit, but she is one of my fav announcers and personalities in the game. Courtney Lyle was calling the game, not Salima. But I agree, I love Salima! |

Gophers down 6 to 2 5th set. Kilkelly serves 4 points. She also pancakes the fourth point, great up on the sixth point and an ace on the seventh point. Becoming an unsung hero by turning the set around. When you are down 4 points in the fifth set it's hard to come back. I'm voting a DS for hero of the fifth set. They went on to out score Baylor 13 to 4 after being down 6 to 2

Gophers up 11 to 10 after a service error. Wenaas serves and a monster back row slam 12 to 10. Miyabe great placement off the block for 13 to 10. A shocked Baylor calls time. Miyabe blocked comes up with a pass to Shaffmaster who sets Wenaas for the tip. 14 to 10. Hitting error game over. The last five points came fast.

She is playing her best volleyball during the tournament for sure. |

The rat comment came from the live they did on instagram the other night. I didn’t catch the beginning, but CC was off camera and kept commenting. What was said in the segments you saw? I tuned in literally as they were signing off :/ It was Katie, Shea and Rachel answering questions that came in - nothing of value |

connected with JT. We had a perfect view of all of the back slides we could barely get a block touch on.
I'll look forward to reading the thread.
right now the laptop is hooked up to the iphone with the hotspot
and the Nebraska game. i picked up a gizmo at a truck stop that hooks into the cigarette socket and has both a usb and regular AC plug prong.
We have tix for Columbus and will be more than happy to root for the Badgers who put on a display that you have to admire.
What a blessing to have Miyabe. we would never have made the tournament without her.
It kinda felt that we expended most of what we had to get to today.

Yeah, I am not sorry Minnesota lost today. At all. I hope it doesn't prevent Samedy from being NPOY. I think she deserves it. The hitting percentage should be looked at like a left side's, given all the swings she took out of system. I was not aware of her ace to error ratio. Miyabe was huge in getting the Gophers to where they got this season after Landfair got hurt. I hope Landfair is 100% next season.

You literally have a badger user name with badger flare underneath I wouldn't be, but I think Samedy was great this year and deserves the top individual award, but it too often goes only to players whose teams made the Final Four. |
