I'm wondering if anyone actually knows who the PA Announcer for the Championship matches is? It's always the same gentleman year after year and he does a terrific job. And what does he do the rest of the time when there isn't a championship match? For 17 open it was David Shaw. He also announces AVP. Here’s his website : davidbruceshaw.wixsite.com/website

Too early to pencil in Sean Kelly as the #1 recruit in his class? Crazy that he's only 15.

I know I mentioned it in a different thread, but I think it belongs here aswell. The gold sliver crossover games need to go, this year saw to many top teams in 17s and 18s fall to silver because of a poor performance in one game or a play in vs another top team Yes! Totally agree. MVVC only lost one match the first three days and that was the crossover match, therefore, they ended up in silver. I am not sure what the solution is, but teams with 4 losses ended up in gold, and MVVC with 1 loss did not. That should not be possible.

I second this. Didn’t get to watch very many games besides the 18 open final. Even that "bad team" in pool 5, ended up doing damage day three. They were maybe bad compared to incredibly great teams at nationals, but that's a top team at other tournaments. It was insanely tough pool.
