Simone Biles have withdrawn from the first two individual events: Uneven Bars and The Vault. To be replaced by McKayla Skinner. On vault; I think a Frenchwoman will replace her on bars. The 2-per-country rule really scre#@! the Russians on bars. They had all 4 in the top 8. NBC said McKayla Skinner 🤷🏻♀️

I don't know if there is something special about the "twisties" in gymnastics. Then just shut the fcuk up. Jesus. It’s ended careers, paralyzed athletes, and even killed some. If you admit to knowing nothing about the topic, just shut up. Your rant was ignorant and sexist.

I do not believe this was ever mentioned here, but in a recent article, Simone Biles mentioned that she was diagnosed with having ADHD at the age of 6. Which she has been taking prescription drugs for ever since. Some of the symptoms of ADHD is what Simone Biles is going through right now. She was OK in the RIO Olympics cause she was allowed to take her prescription drugs. But in the Tokyo Olympics, one of her prescription drugs is prohibited in Japan. Her Doctor and Simone must have knew this in advance of even going to the Tokyo Olympics, and also knew the consequences of Simone not taking her prescription drugs for ADHD. With this in mind, I feel it was selfish of Simone Biles to even attempt to take a spot on the Olympic Gymnastics team. She should have relinquished her spot on the team even before leaving the United States. She knew way in advance, before arriving in Japan on what was going to occur when she was not able to take her medications for ADHD. To me, Simone Biles just wanted a free trip to the Olympics. That is so selfish of her. Now trying to play the sympathy card, when she knows better.

One of the medications she is taking for her ADHD is Ritalin, which is prohibited in Japan. She was able to take this drug while participating in the Rio Olympics, cause it was not prohibited in Brazil.

This is a woman who walked around for years with a goat on her leotard. In interviews, she wasn't shy about telling people that she was the best. Then she comes to the Olympics and she starts to struggle. She lost her nerve. Frankly, she choked. Now this doesn't make her a bad person. Pressure is hard to deal with and we all know that. But lets not ignore the role her hubris played. Pride goeth before the fall. She talked a lot of smack and when she struggled to back it up the pressure must have been tremendous. I think it is also fair to say that great champions thrive under the pressure. They want to take the last shot. They want the ball with two minutes left needing to drive the field to win the game. I don't know if there is something special about the "twisties" in gymnastics. I do know that I can't think of another gymnast pulling out of an Olympics because of them. Or any other major competition for that matter. Now once she choked I don't know if the right answer was to quit. Gymnastics is certainly dangerous and there is no doubt that if you can't commit mentally to really attacking a trick you can really hurt yourself. Maybe she was right to quit once she lost her nerve. FWIW, I agree with the idea that the whole idea of the sport is pretty dangerous. The things these girls do are very dangerous and the human body doesn't naturally do them. My guess is that a big part of coaching here is getting your gymnast to commit to doing things that are inherently very dangerous. My guess is pushing people is the only way this happens. That has issues. But I also think people should be free to pursue what they want to do. Mountaineering is a great example. It is incredibly dangerous and lots of people die doing it. But who says they shouldn't be able to climb a mountain or rock face if that is what they want to do..... Who gives a !!!!###$$$!!! boomer she is the goat she has proved it already before Tokyo!

Lol No, I am not crying about that at all. What I am trying to say is, Simone Biles and her Physician knew way before she arrived in Japan that one of her prescription drugs, Ritalin, was prohibited in Japan. They both knew the consequences, especially her Physician, of her not taking the drug. Simone Biles should have stepped aside and let another gymnast take her place, from the very beginning. Who knows, if Simone Biles had done this, the USA Women's Gymnastic team could have won the Team competition. Instead of having to go 3 gymnast against 4 gymnast. The US team had no choice which 3 gymnast would perform on each apparatus, which the other teams did.

The Paris, France Olympics is 3 years away. Before Simone Biles decides whether she will stay in gymnastics for another 3 years, she needs to find out if France will allow her to bring all her ADHD prescription drugs with her. That is the most important thing she must know before making this important decision. If any of her ADHD prescription drugs are prohibited by France, she might as well hang it up, cause the same thing is going to occur, like it is occurring now, in the Tokyo Olympics.

Here is hoping Simone Biles does decide to stay with gymnastics and participate in the Paris, France Olympics. Also, hoping France allows her to bring all her ADHD prescription drugs with her. Cause the World needs to see the true Simone Biles in action. Not to mention, hoping this Covid virus is under control by then, like all the other deadly viruses have been, so people can witness Simone Biles displaying all her greatness in person.

Skinner gets silver on the vault finals, Lee gets bronze on uneven bars. Rooting for Jade Carey to medal on floor!

With Skinners Vault and Floor score instead of Biles (vault) and Chiles (floor) USA would have won gold. The entire situation is sad however I am glad Skinner was able to win a medal today on Vault. Hopefully Carey can grab a medal on Floor. At least that way every US player leaves with some hardware.

I feel so anxious for the final of floor of tomorrow. Without Biles and Raisman this time, the podium is unpredictable, IMO everyone has a chance. All I ask is a medal for Vanessa Ferrari. Please
