Three things that are lacking so far this season:
1st touch on serve receive and defense
The block has not been good
EMP is not bettering the ball
If we can fix at least one of those, we'd be much better off.

If I remember correctly, Marin had 4 kills in the first set. That doesn't sound like they didn't go to her early... He might have been referring to the start of Set 1: Ten points were scored, with UW trailing 3-7, before Grote scored her first kill. |

Huskies started almost every set in a scoring hole. That's not good.

Week 1 != Week 10
We'll see what we have when we get there.
FWIW, Pablo said they were definitely one of the favorites to win the PAC.
Right now as they sit (using Sep 20 pablo), pablo is saying the four teams most likely to win the PAC are (in order):
Washington
Utah
UCLA
Colorado
This includes the results to date in terms of records through Saturday, but not in terms of any pablo adjustments since Monday.
WSU is right behind them, so the Washington/WSU match tomorrow will also play into this.
It also means the last week of the season might be incredibly decisive, as Utah and UW will play WSU and Colorado that week.
