Word on the street is Macka Cole from Duke is going to be a Bruin. 2021 ACC Defensive POY. Bruins are starting to look pretty good next year. Transfers Forte McKissock Cole Freshman Olson Leverette Tufono Returning Luper McCall Dodson Ndiaye Alupie I love the phrase, "word on the street."

I’ve been trying to support ucla like the past 3 years when on paper they have stacked rosters but they keep flopping lmao. I’m not getting my hopes up this time

I wouldn’t be surprised to see them be very good bc the talent is there but that’s what we’ve been saying for years

I spent so much time hyping up ucla the last few seasons and they keep making me look like a 🤡 So I made a list of things I trust more than a good on paper ucla team.
Gas station Sushi A dirty playground needle Hannah Sedwicks Hands Dana Rettke to get her serve in Julia Bergmann in a pressure match Ally Batenhorst to not get blocked

Falling short but from that high up.

Falling short but from that high up. In a non-competitive match. They also nearly lost to UCF and their first round Fairfield match, while a sweep, was 29-27, 25-23, 26-24 .... not a great look.

Me and jwvolley used to talk to each other about how good we thought ucla was gonna be the last few years and they have now traumatized us. Lmao

To be fair, I think I also overestimated McCall's offense a bit when she transferred in.

But if you remove Stivrins from Nebraska, Smrek from Wisconsin, Debeer from Louisville late in a season it’s not earth shattering if they struggle against a top 4 seed. Now prior years sure.

To be fair, I think I also overestimated McCall's offense a bit when she transferred in. she hasn’t been the same offensively post-injury. I used to watch her at TCU and she could take over matches as a freshman. She just frankly hasn’t shown that ability since her injury but I am a HUGE fan of hers and wish for nothing but her to prove everyone wrong next year. Hopefully a full offseason will help!
