The other three teams are promised $50,000 each for participation that late afternoon and night. Good for those sports programs, its fans and the athletes for those four teams. A night to remember and tell other people about the unique experience.

Beach volleyball is for the elements, not 6 on 6 indoor volleyball. What are they gonna do, put a sports court over the football turf!? Nebraska wasn’t willing to travel to a good opponent and risk a loss this week of the non-conference, so they hype a local match that nobody outside of Nebraska could actually care about with this stunt because god forbid Michella Chester goes one week without saying something hype worthy about Nebraska? This just screams wanting more attention for a program that does not need it.

A lot of your posts (from what I've seen) continue to attack Nebraska, Cook and their program. Why?

My point is well stated - it is an attention stunt for a program that does not need it.

My point is well stated. except it didnt. volleyball has been played all over the world outdoors, in order for more people to watch. just because you don't care, doesnt mean other people dont.

And that’s fine, people are entitled to care about something like this happening, and I’m entitled to call it how I see it. We don’t all have to agree.

I have been on this board for years, and have opined on numerous topics that directly involve Nebraska volleyball and numerous topics that don’t involve Nebraska volleyball. I don’t understand your question. If you don’t want to read what I post, then don’t, but I certainly won’t (and don’t have to) explain when I do and don’t post and why other than a simple, generic response - because I want to.

It's also disingenuous to act like you don't have an agenda lmao. You obviously are not a fan of the program and take most opportunities to shade it where you can. Which is fine! As you said, it's a message board on a forum. But I doubt you're actually taken aback by his question/observation lol.

Next year, Michigan plays a single set of volleyball in Michigan Stadium during half time of the UM-OSU game and sets a record that literally can’t be broken. Bc that’s where things are now I guess. 😭 In 2024, Texas is having its SEC season opener at the cotton bowl. Mark my words. Elliott just made the call

This is one of those "just because you can, doesn't mean you should" situations. Is the record really worth it when 3/4 of the people in attendance can't actually see the match? Because that seems dumb.... I once saw US men's team play in the Kingdome in Seattle. That was about 150 years ago, in my memory. But actually was probably 1984? Maybe 1980? Some pre-Olympics exhibition/warmup tour. This wasn't as crazy as it may sound, because during those years the Kingdome was the home of the NBA Supersonics, so they had a seating setup designed for that. They didn't just put the court at the 50-yard-line of the football field.
