The Citadel defeated East Tennessee State University in the quarterfinals of the Southern Conference tournament, -18, -25, -21 and improved their record to 27-2. Ali Ruffin, the SoCon POTY, led all scorers with 15.5 pts. and a .333 hitting percentage. The Citadel outhit ETSU, .268 to .075.

The next opponent is Samford in the semi-finals. That match will be played on Nov. 18 at 5pm Eastern.
