I think ur confusing Hunter with sigler. Hunter is not an OH, she’s a lefty oppo. Gray wouldn’t have switched to the left to fill in for Hunter bc Hunter was never a left side. Dont think Hunter and landfair will have any effect on eachother playing time since they’re not the same position I actually mixed the names up Hunter is an OPP and Gray has occasionally played both pins. I know Sigler is an OH but Hunter is just all around amazing. But both are great. Nebraska is snatching all the offensive power lately. But i'm happy and satisfied with Jordyn she's awesome and underrated but lately and been getting more recognition ever since her commitment to Louisville. Recently attended the main USANTDP program in the summer happy for her Yea I think she’ll be great. Best highschool pin recruit we’ve gotten since debeer in 2020

Best highschool pin recruit we’ve gotten since debeer in 2020 To be honest, this is a solid take 😳 And in my opinion Jordyn might be even is better than a few of top recruits in the nation from what i’ve seen I’d love to see Meester and Gray as the outside pins in 2026 because Gray’s arm on the bench will be a little shocking. but i love utterback and peterson as well and Alanna The competition is gonna be too tight but with Meester’s height advantage and all around game i see her being one of the starting pins next season , we haven’t had a 6’2+ pin since Melanie i think or she may have been shorter But out of all of our incoming pins who would you like to see as the duo? Also i think Gray is coming in as an opposite not sure since DBK didn’t really recruit right pins, i see she’s been training Alanna on the right too

I don’t see her starting or playing much as a freshman. She is athletic, but she doesn’t play for a very good club team and they often play lower divisions. Their school team is good, but not great. I just don’t think she can come in as a freshman and rely strictly on being athletic because there will be quite a bit of fundamentals things that she will struggle with as a freshman. I hope I’m wrong, but I don’t think I will be.

Did any of you watch the Notre Dame matches? How was the serving and setting? How do you think Louisville would do today in a rematch vs Nebraska?

Did any of you watch the Notre Dame matches? How was the serving and setting? How do you think Louisville would do today in a rematch vs Nebraska? Well it will it will definitely not be a sweep lol -Setting is at like a 80% right now, it gets better each game -Passing the same at like a 80% -Offense more balanced less predictable even when Debo has bad days, others get going -Scott and Luper are like 2 liberos on the court at the same time -Scott passing well again, her defense always top 2 not 2 -Louisville blocking UNMATCHED So maybe a 5 setter with a loss to Nebraska Louisville peaking at the right time and could probabaly beat Penn State at this point in the season

I hope I’m wrong, but I don’t think I will be. -DBK recruited a player, from the Caribbean played on concrete, then became one of Louisville's best, if not the best, opposite ever. -DBK recruited Elena Scott, played for her parents small club in her hometown, as a very low ranked Setter in the bottom 100 with little to no Libero training and ended up being one of the best Liberos in college volleyball history -SMD used to be horrible at defense in Arizona, now she's blocking and digging balls better than she ever did at Arizona -and then Claire one of the best outsides of all time, everybody knows if she was a few inches taller she will be in the Olympics conversation DBK knows her %*$#, lol. Louisville’s Final Four team wasn’t full of top recruits, just DeBeer and Tilman. It’s only recently they’ve started getting big names because of their success, but their biggest wins came from smaller recruits. If Gray isn’t seen as good enough in high school—which I disagree with—Louisville's coaching staff can develop her, as they've done with their most successful players. Sure, she plays for a small club, but so did Ryan Hunter who eventually did move, But Gray’s got a GOOOD D1 arm 100%. Playing for a smaller club isn’t a big issue for her to adjust to eventually in college, especially since she’s still in high school.

Yeah she may not play for a big club but tbh i dont see that being a big problem for her to adjust to overtime, especially because she is still in HS Period! DBK and staff are coaching the girls UP!

FR! I trust in her recruiting so much she rarely ever wrong. There is no doubt that Jordyn Gray is more athletic, more physical and faster(arm swing) than Utterback, Peterson, Meester etc lol So if its the smaller/underrated players that are gonna keep this program going which has been the story for Louisville in the past years, then keep the unknown players coming please! I don't know about y'all but I love me an underdawg stanfordvb may not be wrong by that statement

Wasn't Utterback like in top 5 overall recruits in the nation when DBK picked her up? She was like the #2 OH in the country until her rank dropped supposedly due to injury DBK can recruit BIG and SMALL, she doesn't care, Ava Utterback is like Louisville's biggest recruit in program history i think

Dont forget Alanna, Yeah really intense one, we were talking about in the the thread earlier my predcition is Meester and Gray in 2026 thats if we dont have any transfers but its just a prediction. Utterback, Peterson, Meester, Gray and Bankstion are almost all equally good so i could be very wrong. But maybe by 2025 without a transfer (i think there will be be) it will be Peterson and Meester AGAIN I could be wrong They are definitely stacked with pins and a few of them being top recruits (Ava, Payton, Chloe) I'm afraid one of them might transfer cause of how all good they are to be starters, maybe DBK redshirts them preferably Gray and Meester. I know Ava is currently redshirting. But i think Meester is too good to redshirt idk

i think Meester had a better game at the Semi finals but still good today but that Arkansas commit, whew it was her match today!
Meester reminds me of Landfair, not flashy but kills the ball always
i find it cool that her team is just full of D1 basketball commits and they have cool offense, find it cool Meester runs slides as an OH
