So what's the deal? Is she taking time off? Is she done altogether? Still training for her pro team? She has been a very valuable player for USA and seems to be in her prime. It would be an odd time to retire, but not unheard of.

She could pursue acting...she has the looks. She could play the taller, younger sister of Jennifer Lawrence.

I remember watching a Hawaii-UCLA match a few years ago when Karsta Lowe just unloaded on the Wahine. UCLA won 3-0, I think, but it was a hard fought match. Right at the end of the match, the camera focused on Lowe as she walked back to the bench and she let out a clearly audible "Whew!" and a giant sigh of relief.

The coaching staff needs to really try and teach her and Murphy how to deal with high balls better, but the pin hitters overall too I suppose.

I am wary about bringing up the topic of looks, but since you mentioned it, I think Kim Hill actually looks a little better than Lowe. Of course, in case anyone misunderstood, I am not serious here, I judge players by their performance on the court, always.

I heard she was caught doping too... Please...please, if you heard something, provide the source. If you are unsure, keep it quiet, or you are just propagating fake news. That's detrimental!

In the context of the earlier post about Glass, it was clearly a joke and sarcasm. But there are always people who are way too literal or don't get context.

NVBR, but another UCLA story: Years ago, I watched UCLA woso live in Pullman, with Lauren (then) Cheney and Sydney (then) Leroux. Sydney had one turn-and-drive to ~5m mid-left, hard sliding shot into side netting, and yelled "DANG IT!!" That was like Charlie Brown discovering that the little red-haired girl chews her pencil erasers. ... gosh, how time flies. Karsta also got us 15-13 in the 5th in Pullman and did a small sigh. How I hated her!
