threadmakers: Please put the time zone after each match time in your OP (so, e.g., 6 PM PT, not just 6 PM) or else make something in the match threads thread that I can just copy and paste into the OP for each match (e.g. #5 Creighton vs. Northern Iowa | Friday 9/13 | 1:00pm ET) instead of just linking your match thread? If I can copy and paste, I usually do ok but I often have problems putting characters in between other characters or using capitals, special characters, anything upper case. Thanks. Sorry for the extra work.

The past couple seasons we've had an unofficial system in place during the non-conference slate to try to get threads made for all the head-to-head matches between Top 25 ranked teams, including teams receiving votes. I thought we might try to do it again this season. Here's a table showing all such matches, whether they've been made, and who's either made it, volunteered to make it, or if it's unspoken for. I've also penciled in some folks who have either called dibs on a team (in the recent thread, Match Thread Makers - Gauging Interest for 2024 NCAA) or frequently cover a team or conference. If anyone would like to call dibs on the OPEN matches they can reply to this thread and we can update things here (I'll keep my eyes peeled elsewhere on the board, too). I'm also tagging folks who've made match threads recently for these teams to bring this to their attention and so they can weigh in on whether they're planning to make threads. *I would also just add that some of these matches are part of full tournaments. Full tournament threads are always welcome but if folks just want to make threads for individual matches that's okay, too. |

Special heads-up to baytree and basil that the upcoming Stanford and Texas matches against Minnesota and Wisconsin had dibs called on making their match threads back in December by JT and rainbowbadger.
Okay, now I'll stop spamming this thread for the night : )

I'll try to put together a match thread for the Stacy Clark Classic happening at Purdue next weekend. It'll be used for all the matches.

Given Creighton's tournament is on FloSports, I probably wont make a thread for it (no one pays for it/watches it anyways lol)

I don't think so but in years past ilikecorn has delayed posting his subsequent Nebraska match thread until after the current match concludes. Since today is the Nebraska scrimmage, I'd anticipate that the Kentucky match thread will be published later tonight or tomorrow.
I think rainbowbadger or eazy will make one for the Wisconsin vs Louisville one.
